Primary Manual 4: Lesson 16, Alma and Amulek in Prison

Primary Manual 4: Lesson 16, Alma and Amulek in Prison

Lesson 16 in Primary Manual 4 is about Alma & Amulek in prison and the purpose of the lesson is to help the children develop faith in Jesus Christ so they will stand for the right. You can see the entire lesson HERE. During the lesson you teach about the faith that Alma & Amulek had even when they were being persecuted and how they defended their faith through it all. This handout has ways the kids can remember to stand for the right in their own lives including: obey the commandments, avoid swearing, be kind, pray, tell the truth, follow Christ, never cheat, study the scriptures and choose the right.

Primary Manual 4: Lesson 15, Alma and Amulek’s Mission to Ammonihah

Primary Manual 4: Lesson 15, Alma and Amulek’s Mission to Ammonihah
In Primary Manual 4 lesson 15 is about Alma and Amulek's mission to Ammonihah, and the purpose of the lesson is to teach the kids to the importance of faithfully obeying Heavenly Father’s commandments. You can see the entire lesson HERE.  I strayed slightly from the lesson for this handout because I love this quote, it is from a talk given at BYU Women's conference in 2011. It sums up exactly why we should do the simple things of the gospel and live it faithfully- because we will see extraordinary results in our lives.

Remember to Pray Activity Day Pillowcases

One of my first activities for the Activity Day girls was making these fun Remember to Pray pillowcases.  I wanted to create something to help them remember to say their prayers everyday, since it is a requirement in their Faith In God books and I settled on a pillowcase.

Primary Manual 4: Lesson 14, Alma the Younger and the Sons of Mosiah Repent

Primary Manual 4: Lesson 14, Alma the Younger and the Sons of Mosiah Repent

After reading through Lesson 14 in the Primary Manual 4 I knew I wanted to incorporate the object lesson of using food dye, bleach and a water bottle for repentance. I planned this handout based on that object lesson.
